Description

STATEMENT OF WORK 619-14-2-5243-0158 OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) with a contractual obligation that encompasses the purchase and Installation of a Two New Electrical Circuit and replacement of 2 each 40 hp Variable Speed Drive to Cooling Tower 2 & 3 Building 97. This contract shall not require access to a VA system or VA sensitive information (e.g., system administrator privileged access to a VA system, or contractor systems or processes that utilize VA sensitive information). SITE VISIT: It is highly recommended that bidder visit the site to confirm the existing logistics such as location and dimension. The site visit shall be for the purpose of a observing any conditions relevant to the fulfillment of this contract. No consideration will be given to claims based on a lack of knowledge of the existing conditions, except where contract documents make definite provisions for adjustment in cost or extension due to existing conditions not readily foreseeable. The site addresses is: 2400 Hospital Road Tuskegee, Alabama 36083 Point of Contact: Building # 13 - Engineering Services Charles Morgan 334-727-0550 x-3896 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILTY: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for execution of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: "Contractor will provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision to preformed this job "To disconnect defective wiring and Variable Speed Drive from Motor Control Panel to cooling Tower 2 & 3 "Contractor shall provide material to install new conduit, wiring variable speed drive and connector from panel to cooling towers "Contractor will install new circuits that will be above ground except from the area from building to tower supports "Contractor will make all terminations, connection, test, verify and start up VSD units "Contractor will be responsible for removal all debris from the work area HOURS OF WORK: The hours of work shall take place during the normal business hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded. Request for weekend work must be submitted in writing. WARRANTY: Equipment and material will be free of defects in materials and workmanship arising from normal usage for a period of one year.
