- This notice is an unrestricted acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) Contract pursuant to FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, for ground tire NSN 2610-01-364-5044, in accordance with approved sources: (12195) Michelin North America and (22337) Bridgestone Americas. The contracting activity is DLA Land and Maritime. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be valid until 13 Oct 2014. Current estimated annual demand quantities, FOB and Inspection and Acceptance information will be listed in the RFQ. Unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The contract resulting from this solicitation will provide supply support to the Tires Succesor Initiative (TSI) Contractor, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) designated in contract SPM7LX-11-D-0157, pursuant to FAR Part 51, and may also provide direct supply support to the Government. Note the following: Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Products Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the ASSIST database via the Internet at https://assist.dla.mil. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). TIRE SIZE DESIGNATION: 14.00R24 Numeric 385/95R24 is the same size as (14.00R24) TIRE STRENGTH: Load Range L TIRE MAXIMUM LOAD CAPACITY: 11660.0 Pounds TIRE MAXIMUM INFLATION PRESSURE: 100.0 PSI TIRE CONSTRUCTION: Radial TIRE MATERIAL: Rubber, Natural TIRE AIR RETENTION METHOD: Tube Type FLAP: YES VEHICLE APPLICATION: M911 Tractor (HET) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
