- Description
- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Stennis Space Center (SSC) Office of Procurement plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for award of a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of necessary labor, equipment, and materials required to drydock, inspect, perform any necessary steel work, replace anodes and paint one NASA Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Barge. The period of performance for this action is 120 days from date of award. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 336611 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about February 25, 2014, with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about March 18, 2014. The firm date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the RFP. Evaluation and award of the solicitation will be best value, based on the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. The RFP and related documents will only be issued electronically and will be available via the internet.
