Description
This notice is an unrestricted acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) Contract for ground tire NSN 2610-01-154-1452, in accordance with the Cooperative Tire Qualification Program (CTQP) Cooperative Approved Tire List (CATL) 1922. The contracting activity is DLA Land and Maritime. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be the award effective date until Oct 13, 2014, or when the maximum value of $150,000 is met. Current estimated annual demand quantities, FOB and Inspection and Acceptance information will be listed in the RFQ. Unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. ADQ is 123 and ADF is 76. Required delivery is 60 days. Note the following: Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Products Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the ASSIST database via the Internet at https://assist.dla.mil. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. TIRE,PNEUMATIC,VEHICLE CLASS I OZONE DEPLETING CHEMICALS ARE NOT TO BE USED NOR INCORPORATED IN ANY ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT.THIS PROHIBITION SUPERSEDES ALL SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BUT DOES NOT ALLEVIATE ANY PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS. SUBSTITUTE CHEMICALS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL UNLESS THEY ARE AUTHORIZED BY THE SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. ** EXCEPTION: This shelf life item is Non-Extendable, Code S, with a total shelf life of sixty months. Material furnished under this contract/order shall have at least 42 months of shelf life remaining at time of delivery. ** TIRE CHARACTERISTICS ASTM F1922 WITH CATL-1922 GROUP 1 SIZE: P205/75R15 P-METRIC CONSTRUCTION: RADIAL STRENGTH: LOAD RANGE B (STANDARD LOAD) AIR RETENSION: TUBELESS TYPE FLAP: NO SERVICE TYPE: OVER THE ROAD PASSENGER CAR TREAD DESIGN: ALL WEATHER MAX INFLATION: 35 PSI TIRE LOAD MAX CAPACITY: 1598 LBS While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
