Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 17, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract to Draeger Medical, Inc. for procurement of the following items: 001: Innovian ® Anesthesia Clinical Systems, Item Number: MS26600, 1 Each 002: Post-Op Licenses, Item Number: MS16611, 10 Each 003: Interface Devises, Item Number: MS16618, 10 Each Market research performed on these Draeger Medical items did not reveal any other procurement source. Any interested firm that can provide these items is encouraged to respond to this notice by a response or capability statement. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties must respond to this notice by 21 February 2014 to be considered for future competitive actions. Interested parties must contact the Acquisition Support Specialist by email at vance.farrell@va.gov before the close of the notice to be considered. The anticipated statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
