Description
DRAFT Performance Work Statement Sources Sought Questionnaire Thank you for taking the time to assist us in gathering this information! The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD)-Seattle office is currently conducting market research to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing the following general services. Interested parties are requested to complete and submit the attached sources sought questionnaire to the Government. The Government advises that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include your firm in the acquisition process for future solicitations. The contractor shall plan, program, administer, coordinate, and execute the work necessary to provide the specified services as defined in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide medical support services via telephone and secure electronic data transmission capability (to include images) including medical treatment advisement and programmatic support recommendations to the Government's United States Public Health Service (USPHS) medical officers-Physician Assistants (PAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Registered Nurses (RNs)-working aboard NOAA ships while underway or in foreign ports. When in US ports, patients are referred to military facilities or public hospitals; medical support services performed for NOAA ships in US ports are NOT included within the scope of this contract. The Government will make ALL final decisions regarding patient care. An important outcome of this research is the possibility of setting aside this acquisition for exclusive competitive participation within a specific Small Business Administration (SBA) program in accordance with FAR 19.201(a). Specific SBA programs are historically underutilized business zone small business, small business 8(a), small disadvantaged business, economically-disadvantaged women-owned small business, women-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, and veteran-owned small business. Please submit your responses no later than 26 February 2014 by 2:00:00 PM (PST) via email or facsimile to angela.royster@noaa.gov, fax number (206) 527-0335. We appreciate your participation in assisting NOAA with vital information in support of this mission. Attached: Sources Sought Questionnaire Draft PWS Note: This requirement was previously synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) in November of 2013 under the title Maritime Medical Services Consultant and with the "Solicitation Number" NMAN8800-13-01345.
