Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice of a proposed requirement for the procurement, configuration, shipment, and delivery of IT equipment to Peace Corps' locations worldwide and associated support services. The required equipment includes HP Servers; HP Workstations (desktops, laptops, monitors etc); network storage devices; Cisco routers, switches, concentrators, and equipment racks; other networking/security Equipment (firewalls, N/HIDS, sensors, etc); printers (network, local, multi-purpose, etc); and peripherals (scanners, card readers, mobile devices, etc). The Peace Corps Office of Acquisition and Contract Management (OACM), on behalf of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Orders. This requirement will be solicited as Full and Open Competition. The Peace Corps anticipates issuing the solicitation during the third quarter of Government Fiscal Year 14 and award during no later than the first quarter of GFY 15. The minimum ordering obligation is $100,000 and may be used across any/all requirements. The period of performance for the base contract will be twelve (12) months. Four 12 month option periods will be included to address support the Peace Corps technical refresh planning cycle. This effort will ensure that all Peace Corps locations worldwide have required IT equipment, which meet the agency's standards. Offerors interested to compete in this requirement must provide for all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW) in Section C of the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). This pre-solicitation notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a draft or formal Request for Proposal (RFP). This pre-solicitation notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government intends to publish a formal request for proposals.
