Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) office in Port Hueneme, CA intends to award up to seven multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), costs plus fixed fee contracts using a best value competitive source selection process. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Code Standard is 541330 and the applicable size standard is $35 million. The basic contract period will be for one year with two (2) one-year option periods for a total maximum duration of three years. The total maximum aggregate value of all task orders issued during the entire contract term of three years among all of the MAC IDIQ contract holders will not exceed $99,000,000. The minimum guarantee task order amount will be $10,000. Successful contract awardees will be given a fair opportunity to compete on all task orders. The actual work to be performed will be described in individual task orders to be issued by the Contracting Officer. The work to be acquired under this solicitation is for ocean engineering services in support of projects involving ocean cable systems, ocean work systems, waterfront facilities, offshore structures, moorings, and ocean construction equipment. The work will be performed in environments ranging from arctic to tropic worldwide and at all water depths where construction, installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and salvage operations may be required. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and award contract without discussions. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. The RFP will be posted on the website at www.neco.navy.mil on or about 28 February 2014. No hard copies will be provided. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR ™S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE DAILY FOR ANY AND ALL AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation number is N39430-14-R-1425. The Government will not pay for proposals or costs associated with proposal preparation, including participation in the site visits.
