- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is issued by the Unites States Property & Fiscal Office for Vermont. Purpose is to identify sources capable of providing point to point fiber optic strands in support of VTARNG Information Technology requirements. Connection is required for the Information Technology Building located on Camp Johnson, Colchester VT, 789 and the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) located in So Burlington VT. The Contractor shall provide a minimum of three and an option of up to twelve optical fiber pairs between the demarcation rooms located in the Information Technology Center and the AASF. The fibers should be quote mark point-to-point quote mark, tested to meet industry standards for minimal signal degradation / loss and void of light. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 517110 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers) with an applicable size standard of 1,500 employees. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet at the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. This notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote or Request for Proposal. It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. At this time no solicitation exists.
