The answer the contractor questions are as follows: 1- How many total Tents and HVAC units require flex duct hook-ups? A- 30 tents require flex duct hook up. 10 tents have new ducting hooked up to the heat pumps and only require the addition of ducted "Y's" 2. 2-How many of the HVAC systems require the Y-connections vs. No Y-connections? A- All 40 tents require the Y-connections - the Y-connectors in place are 22" inlet/outlet and cannot be used with 18" ducting. 3. When is this work scheduled to begin and when does it have to be complete? A- ASAP. Delivery must be started 2 weeks upon contract award - time for completion should not take more than 30 days from start to finish. I Would also like to point out that training will be taking place and the shelters will be lived in. While heat pumps/HVAC units are not used during the daytime hours, they WILL be required at night for occupancy. Shelter ducting must be in place for operation each night.
