- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract to provide laundering services at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) and Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF), Houston, TX. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, plant facilities, transportation, materials, and/or supplies necessary to provide, rental, laundering, and delivery of bath towels to JSC and SCTF. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 812331 and revenue is $30.0 million respectively.The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. This will be a five (5) year procurement with a one (1) year base and four (4), 1 year options. Base Year will be March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015; Option Year 1 will be March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016; Option Year 2 will be March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017; Option Year 3 will be March 1, 2017 through February 28, 2018; and, Option Year 4 will be March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019.
