Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA786-14-Q-0092 and is issued as a request for bids (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730 with a small business size standard of 7.0 M. This requirement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB), and only qualified bids from SDVOSB concerns will be considered for possible contract award. Interested parties can submit their quote on company letter head (If you want to use a SF 1449) you are more than welcome to but it's not required to me. Questions regarding this announcement shall be sent to Ms. Geraldine Herrera, Purchasing Agent, 155 Van Gordon Street, Lakewood, CO 80228. Questions and quotes can be emailed to geraldine.herrera@va.gov. The deadline for receipt of questions is February 24, 2014-2:00PM MT, and the deadline for receipt of bids is February 27, 2014 - 2:00 PM MT. The Contractor shall complete these services within a period of 30 Calendar days from award of contract and/or notice to proceed with work to completion. Bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov to be eligible to receive an award. In addition, bidders much have an active account and registered in www.vitbiz.gov. This project is subject to the availability of funds for l year 2014. The Government may require the delivery of the numbered line item, identified in the schedule as an option item, in the quantity and the price stated in the Schedule. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the contractor within 60 days (This is only a base year purchase order). The Veterans Administration National Cemetery Administration requires the following items to be delivered to The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fort Lyon National Cemetery, 15700 County Road HH, Las Animas, CO 81054. You may contact the cemetery @ (303)761-0117. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site and see the actual conditions. All questions regarding subject announcement shall be directed to the attention of Ms. Geraldine Herrera, Purchasing Agent (303) 914-5703. Bidders failing to provide a price for all Line Items may be considered non-responsive and excluded for consideration for possible contract award. Contract award will be based solely on price, and award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder.
