This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and shall not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to identify potential sources interested and capable of performing the work described herein and obtain information regarding business size and socioeconomic status, for example Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a) HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WO), Small Disadvantaged Business (SB), etc.). The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code associated with this announcement is 621610 with a size of standard of $14.0M. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), San Antonio, Texas is seeking potential sources capable of providing Home Infusion Therapy Services, as authorized by VAMC, to VAMC authorized beneficiaries in their homes. Skilled services include skilled nursing and infusion therapy, and shall be provided in accordance with a plan of care developed by the contracted agency, that requires the skill of a licensed professional, specifically authorized by the San Antonio VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide Home Infusion Therapy Services to include administrative services; professional pharmacy services; care coordination; and all necessary supplies, equipment, delivery and maintenance services. Home Infusion Therapy may include: placement and maintenance of Intravenous lines; maintenance of any intravenous and/or epidural lines; Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) Therapy; patient education; follow-up; teaching; counseling patient and family members regarding nursing care and other related patient problems; providing a rehabilitation regimen when necessary; evaluation and regular re-evaluation of patient home care needs; making appropriate referrals as needed; development; implementation; oversight; modification of the patient care plan; physical assessment and re-assessment per written policy; and documentation of outcomes of care/services provided. The following counties are included in the San Antonio VA Medical Center servicing area. When issuing information please clarify which of the servicing areas your agency is able to adequately staff.
