Description
Boiler and Cooling Tower Water Treatment Chemicals and Training SCOPE OF WORK I.EQUIPMENT: Equipment will be in good operating condition upon the effective date of this Contract. This Contract will not apply to any cooling tower equipments that is damaged through negligence, misuse, abuse, fire or explosion, or any act of God. II.SUPPORT AND TRAINING: 1.Operator Training a.Available for up to 8 operators for ½ day. Additional operators can attend training. b. Classroom and hands on training conducted at operating site. c. Training is provided by Contractor representative or agent. d. Supplied copies of O&M manual will be used for training. 2. Refresher Training a. Included annually and scheduled in conjunction with a regular site visit. b. Will include all updates to system and/ or maintenance program. 3. Support Consultation a. Site representative assigned. b. Toll free number 1-800-000-0000; - mailto:contractor@contractor.com c. Regular business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time. d. For emergency consultation outside of regular business hours, Call Contractor and include contact phone numbers where an operator can be reached. 4. System Testing Check and Adjustments a. On site visit will be conducted on a weekly basics which will includes an equipment Operational review and visual inspections. b. System checks and adjustments to the make-up and recirculation system will be made as required. c. Instrumentation will be re-calibrated and changes will be recorded. d. System adjustments such as controller and chemical pumps set points. 5. Review Owner System Logs a.. Review system check log for completion, accuracy, errors 6. On-Site Water Testing a. Water testing will be done on a weekly bases and performed on the Cooling towers systems at bldg 104 & 104a, Condensate System, Chill Water System (including 5 million gal Chill Water Storage Tank, Hot Water System and Makeup Systems and Boiler Systems, for key control parameters 1. Total hardness (ppm CaCO3) 2. Chlorides (ppm) 3. Conductivity 4. PH 5. Alkalinity 6. Residual chemical 7. Phosphates 8. TDS 9. and etc. 7. Service Reporting a. On site follow up with key observations delivered to operators. b. Summary report (see appendix) will be completed and submitted within 7 days. c. Reports will include test results, records of adjustments and any system operation Recommendations. d. Contractor will maintain report archives. 8. Chemicals and Equipment a. Contractor shall provide all chemical each year for Boiler Water Treatment Chemicals. b. Contractor shall provide all chemical each year for Cooling Tower Water Treatment Chemicals. c.Contractor shall provide all chemical each year for Chill water System (including 5 million gal storage tank and Hot water Close Loop System. d. Contractor shall provide all reagents test kits and calibration solutions each year for Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chill Water, Hot Water Systems. e.Contractor shall provide all equipment each year for Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chill Water, Hot Water Systems such as: Controllers, Pumps, test equipment, Coolers and etc. 9. Contract Agreement a.Contractor shall bill the government once per quarter, four times per year. b.This contract is for 1 base year with 2 option years and one six month extension if the government deems it necessary. c.This contract can be cancel at anytime if the Contractors cannot fulfill their obligation to the Government for services or poor services rendered.
