This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA259-14-Q-0243, issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This acquisition is set-aside for Small-Business. This associated NAICS code is 561599. STATEMENT OF WORK National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic BACKGROUND. The National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic (the "Clinic") provides lift tickets for the Veterans during the six (6) day event at Snowmass, Colorado. The vendor shall provide lift tickets for all participants and instructors at the 2014 National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. The lift tickets provided by this vendor are used for disabled Veterans and instructors to participate in the required ski activity at Snowmass, Colorado during the operation of the Clinic. REQUIREMENTS. Scope. The vendor shall provide lift ticket needs at the clinic as directed by the Clinic Director, for the entire event. The vendor shall deliver the lift tickets to the NDVWSC office no later than 2/13/2014. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION. The Government shall inform the Vendor the name and contact information for the designated Clinic staff member who will direct the Vendor in all lift ticket needs and requirements of the Clinic on or before 2/13/2014. The Government will inform the contractor destinations and times for delivery. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall provide lift tickets at the 2014 Clinic. The Contractor shall work with the NDVWSC Director according to their needs and requirement times. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. As directed, for the clinic event, beginning March 30, 2014 at 7:00 o'clock p.m., Mountain Time, through April 4, 2014, at the close of the Clinic, as determined by the Clinic. Delivery is to: VAMC Winter Sports Clinic 2121 North Ave Grand Junction, CO 81501 Items will be FOB Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) to be eligible to receive Purchase Order award. This acquisition will be evaluated by LPTA (price and technical acceptability). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
