- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA, intends to award on a full and open competition basis, a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for hardware with Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLINs for incidental services. The procurement is for High Band (800-3,000 MHz) and Low Band (80-1,000 MHz) Radio Frequency (RF) amplifiers including, three (3) Engineering Development Models (EDM) for High Band RF Amplifiers including environmental stress screening and testing; three (3) EDMs for Low Band RF Amplifiers including environmental stress screening and testing; 168 High Band RF Amplifier production units; 168 Low Band RF Amplifier production units; 14,400 hours of incidental engineering services; 10,080 hours of incidental modification services; materials in support of services; and travel in support of services. All quantities listed above are based on the Government's best estimate and are not-to-exceed quantities. This effort is in support of the Joint Electronic Attack and Compatibility Office (JEACO) located at Point Mugu, CA. The period of performance will be from date of award and will continue for a period of five years. The Government anticipates a solicitation release in March 2014 with a May 2014 award. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
