- Statement of Work-DRAFT Sources Sought The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to completing a design, constructing, and providing warranty for the contstruction of a new San Antonio Plant Booster station at Vandenberg AFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein and IAW the draft SOW, Project XUMU 10-1413B, attached dated 30 Jan 2014. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 237110 (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction). The size standard for this NAICS code is $33,500,000. The purpose of this intended project is to perform a design and build construction effort of a new San Antonio Water Plant Booster station, including demo of the existing facility, and rehabilitation of Wells #4, #5, #6, and #7 at the San Antonio Well Field at Vandenberg Air Force Base, (VAFB) CA. The Contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and material to perform the design and replacement of the San Antonio Plant and rehabilitation of Wells #4 - #7. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract will consist of a firm-fixed-price vehicle to execute the specified project at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/). The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
