- NSN 4820005850431 The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN for a drawing item. The FSC of this requirement is 4820. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three years base and two years option. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Items to be shipped to various military depot locations within established minimum and maximum quantity limits on a needed basis. Solicitation will be set a-side for small business with full & open competition after exclusion of sources. VALVE, GLOBE. Y PATTERN. 3 INCH. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLY IAW BASIC DRAWING NR 80064 1385623 REVISION NR L DTD 02/15/1995 PART PIECE NUMBER: 803-1385623-0311 CONTRACTOR FAT APPLIES. PER FAR 52.209-3: (A) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TEST 1 UNIT(S)# AT LEAST 10 CALENDAR DAYS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF FIRST ARTICLE TESTING, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY... (B) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT THE FAT REPORT WITHIN 90 CALENDAR DAYS# (NOTE: THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE ON THE FACE OF THE SOLICITATION REFLECTS ONLY THE TIME TO DELIVER THE SUPPLIES.) WITHIN 30 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE GOVERNMENT RECEIVES THE FIRST ARTICLE THE CONTRACTING OFFICER SHALL NOTIFY... PER DLAD 52.209-9017, ALT III DISPOSITION OF FIRST ARTICLES: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN ALL FIRST ARTICLE UNITS AS PRODUCTION STANDARDS. The solicitation will be available on DLA's Internet Bid Board Site The Small Business size standard is _500_ employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on DLA'S Internet Bid Board Site (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/) on or about 2/19/14. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
