Description

RFI / Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Salisbury VA Medical Center, is conducting market research through this RFI/ Sources Sought Notice for Rauland Responder 4000 Nurse Call System for its new Mental Health unit. This notice is seeking Brand Name Only (Rauland Responder 4000) equipment to be compatible with existing communication systems. This notice is seeking a vendor who is a Rauland authorized distributor and installer. The potential offeror shall be able to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of the nurse call system as identified in Division 27 (Communications) of the specifications for the Mental Health Phase II Inpatient Facility. The system is needed in 32 resident and seclusion rooms, 2 nurse stations, 4 resident lounges, and 32 toilet/shower rooms. This requirement includes equipment, complete installation, testing, programming, in-service training, and a five year warranty on Responder components and one year on labor. Raceways and boxes currently exist within the walls where installation is to take place. These raceways extend from the outlets to an accessible space above the lay-in ceiling. Maximum consideration will be given to FSS contract holder who has the equipment on their FSS contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334290, Size Standard: 750 Employees, and the Classification code is 5895. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: POC information, DUN#, and business size; if vendor has a FSS contract number and whether the requested equipment is on their contract.
