Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with HP Enterprise Services, LLC of Herndon, VA for expansion of the existing RTLS system within the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System. NAICS 518210 applies; the small business size standard is $25 million. The Contractor shall provide furnish all knowledge, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, post-installation calibration, and system tuning to install a completely functioning backbone of wireless network utilizing Ultrasound technology throughout the Marion Campus, Buildings 185, 16, 17, 174, 127, 1700 E 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953 and extend the Fort Wayne Campus, Building 1, 2121 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm EST on February 5, 2014. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to robert.kay@va.gov.
