Description

Fire/Smoke Dampers. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to install new Fire/Smoke Dampers in two locations with a total of three Fire/Smoke Dampers to be installed in Building 12 at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs Campus, 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747-1480. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-1392 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 3, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will not be held. (See solicitation when available for point of contact information to arrange a site visit, if desired). Quotations are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 30 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is under $25,000.00.
