Item purchase description One order for 10 kits going to Burlington NJ for export, and one order for 6 kits going to California for export. Successful offeror must be currently active in tthe System for Award Management (SAM.gov). See attached for complete description and applicable clauses. Marking in accordance with MIL-STD-129 is required. 8010-00-459-1754 UI: KT COATING KIT, RAIN EROSION RESISTING DESCRIPTION In accordance with the Society for Automotive Engineers Aerospace Material Specification AMS-C-83231A, dated March 9, 2001. A copy of this document is available at http://www.sae.org/standards/. There is no QPL. Use: For use on exterior plastic parts on aircraft and missile surfaces. Type 1: Rain erosion resistant coating Class B: Polyethelene prepolymers which are dependent on moisture of high relative humidity for curing. Composition: L - Limited Use. (For use where Air Pollution Regulations are not in effect.) Color: Black Size: The kit shall consist of the following components: 1) Rain erosion polyurethane prepolymer and curing catalyst: The prepolymer and curing agent shall total a minimum of 3.79 liters (1 gallon). Each component shall be packaged in separate containers. 2) Primer and sufficient primer activator in separate containers: Sufficient primer material to coat an area equivalent to the area coverage of the rain erosion coating. 3) A minimum of 1.5 liters of thinning solvent in a separate container. Shelf Life Code 4: Age on delivery shall not exceed 2 months. Date of reinspection shall be 12 months from the date of manufacture. See attached for complete item purchase description Award will be based on (1) Price, (2) Shipment Days (1) Price will be evaluated first and is most important. (2) Shipment is requested in 30 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO). Shipment is the second most important factor. In the case that one or more vendors are equal in price, award will be made to the best shipment time under the required 30 DARO.
