Description
OVERVIEW: This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking interested vendors for a service requirement entitled: Safety, Environmental and OSHA-related training. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 611699. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $10 million average annual revenue. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. If a solicitation is issued in the future, the type of solicitation and the manner of advertisement may depend on the responses to this sources sought. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT: (1)Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (2)CAGE Code and DUNS number (3)The category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, or WOSB (if applicable) (4)Statement of Capability (SOC) demonstrating your firm's skills, experience, knowledge, equipment, facilities and certifications required to perform the specified type of work. Special attention should be given to the examples of courses provided below. If you firm has been certified to provide the training, please provide documentation to verify certification. The SOC should be no more than five pages in length. (5)If a commercially available price list for training is available, provide the list. If the price list is available on the internet, it is preferred that you provide a hyperlink to the location of the price list instead of sending the full price list as an attachment. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: This work includes various safety, environmental and other state or locally required training courses for employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District. The number of employees requiring training may vary from 3-15 students for any particular course at any given time. Trainers must possess current certifications from OSHA, EPA, or the state, depending on the course(s) being taught. Trainer's facilities should include adequate resources to provide a quality training environement, such as classroom space, training props, and mock-up facilities. Examples of courses that may be required include, but are not limited to the following: (1)Fall Hazard Recognition and Prevention (2)Lead Worker Training, for employees who may be exposed to lead hazards (3)Certified Asbestos Worker (4)Mask Fit and Respiratory Protection Training (5)NFPA 70E Standards for Electrical Safety (6)OSHA requirements for hot work - welding, brazing, grinding, etc. (7)Root Cause Analysis (8)Hazardous Waste / Hazardous Materials Management (9) Other courses required by federal, state, local or agency policies and procedures
