- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 03 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR 6.5" PIN STANDARD FEMALE CLEVIS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate into this modification the revised specifications. See below: Marshall Space Flight Center Specification for NASA 6.5 Female Clevis Specifications: 1.Quantity required: 26 2.Vendor shall fabricate 6.5 Pin Standard Female Clevis per NASA Drawing 90M11267-9 rev. A 3.Threads shall be inspected with Class 2B Go-No Go gages. Any parts failing to meet the thread test shall not be accepted. Thread gages shall be provided by NASA. 4.Vendor shall provide a Certificate of Compliance or a Verification Matrix to verify that all technical requirements for the procurement have been met, including all specifications in this document and the NASA 90M drawings. 5.Clevis shall be fabricated using domestic material only. 6.Vendor shall provide a Certified Material Test Report (CMTR) for all material used to fabricate clevis. 7.Vendor shall provide physical address of all manufacturing plants used to fabricate clevis. 8.NASA shall perform Tensile Load Proof Test for all clevises to 150% of clevis Tension Load Capacity defined in 90M11267-9 at no cost to the vendor as part of final acceptance. 9.NASA proof test shall include Load vs. Deflection data points equally spaced at 10% increments, including zero and maximum nominal load value.All data shall be NIST Traceable. 10.Proof Test Data shall indicate no increase in deflection during 10 minute hold at 150% Tension Load Capacity to verify no yielding in the material. Any clevis that fails the yield test will be rejected. 11.NASA will perform the preparation and paint of surfaces after proof test and final inspections have been performed. The due date for receipt of offers is Feb. 10, 2014. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on [ENTER DATE].
