- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Walla Walla District in Walla Walla, Washington, has a requirement for a Boom truck which consists of a minimum 20 ton hydraulic crane mounted behind the cab and is on a crane approved tandem axle truck carrier with a snow plow of sufficient size and strength to maintain the project and surrounding roads for Lower Granite Lock and Dam in Pomeroy, WA. Summary of Work: Supplies, delivers and onsite proof tests the new, fully functional turn-key Boom truck to Lower Granite Lock and Dam. The synopsis is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or proposals (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. RFQ number W912EF-14-Q-0054 will be issued on or about January 27, 2014 but may be issued prior to or after January 27, 2014. The quote closing due date and time will be detailed in the RFQ and any amendments that may be issued. IMPORTANT NOTE: The FedBizOpps response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for FedBizOpps archiving purposes only. It has no relationship to the actual solicitation due date and time. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice.
