- This is a Sources Sought Notice that is issued for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFP. The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center is planning a project to include a 22,000 Square Foot (SF) addition to the existing building to house the Audiology and Pulmonary Departments (including Sleep Lab) and to add to Logistics (including Medical Supply Storage). Project will move the check in space for Radiology and remodel a small portion of the existing facility. This will also include site modifications for the restoration of the site around the addition. This project will provide all necessary modifications and additions to the existing VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) existing building structure, conveying, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work and shall be in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Veterans Affairs (VA) and VAACC regulations. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms capable of performing these services. The Government will use the information obtained from this sources sought announcement to make a set-aside determination including further restriction under a socio-economic status. The appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 with the applicable business size of $33.5 million. If interested in this opportunity, please provide via email, a one-page synopsis of qualifications and project experience for work providing the type of services identified above. Interested sources should include bonding capacity, business size, and economic status. The Response Due Date for this Sources Sought Notice is March 3, 2014.
