Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy program (CMOP) is in the process of improving standardization across prescription labels (hereinafter referred to as "labels") to ensure medication regimen compliance. A new standardized label was piloted and deemed to be in the best interest of the DVA. These new labels will be conforming to a patient-centric format which is now the VA standard. The purpose of this special notice is to announce that a Request for Information (RFI) will be published. In order to accomplish the acquisition of these labels, an evaluation of industry availability will be conducted through the use of this RFI. The Request for Information (RFI) will be released on or about January 29, 2014 and close on or about February 11, 2014. The contracting officer for this RFI is Ryan Collier.
