- This is a requirement to conduct a wall to wall inventory at James A Haley VA Medical Center, a weekend prior to the end of February. The vendor shall furnish all necessary materials, supplies, equipment, personnel, supervision, and travel costs to provide for a complete 100% physical inventory for the following locations: "Inpatient Pharmacy located on the 1st floor, ground floor, and SCI Pharmacy of the main hospital building located at: 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL. "Outpatient pharmacy located at: 12210 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL, approximately about 1000 yards from the main hospital. The vendor MUST identify experiences in conducting inventory in hospital pharmacies, to include critical aspects not limited to: pricing, package sizes, pharmacy layout, pharmacy processes, dispensing, and automation. Inventories of Inpatient and Outpatient are to be kept separate, conducted within a 24 hour period, and to be completed a weekend in the month of February. Both inventories must be completed on the same weekend. There is estimate amount of 3,200 items in Inpatient and approximately 2,900 items in inpatient that are to be counted and validated. The estimated dollar value is between 2.5 to 3 million dollars. These amounts may be higher due to the pharmacy's open market issues and Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) rejects that may have demanded an increase in stock. Potential bidders MUST register at FedBizOpps www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps website. All interested parties MUST be registered "ACTIVE" in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (www.SAM.gov) and Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at: www.vetbiz.gov database as a "Verified" SDVOSB firm, and must have current record in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to bid opening.
