- Description
- This action is an order modification adding an additional period of performance (new work) to an existing copier lease and maintenance BPA Call (task order) on a limited source (sole source) basis, in accordance with FAR 8.405-2 (GSA Federal Supply Schedules, Ordering procedures for services requiring a statement of work). The estimated value of this action is $3,300,000.00 over a performance period of six months. The DOS requires an extension of the existing copier lease and maintenance BPA Call (GSA FSS task order) that supports current lines of business across the DOS enterprise in the domestic United States. The scope includes: a. Copier Machine Leasing b. Copier Machine Maintenance and Repair Services c. Copier Machine Supplies d. Copier Program Management Support Services The Office of Global Publishing Solutions is organized under Global Information Sharing, which strives to meet the diverse deign and reproduction needs of the DOS under the mandate of Title 44, U.S.C. and paragraph 30 of the U.S. Printing and Binding Regulations. The GPS Copier Management operation is one of the largest programs within A/GIS/GPS, with more than 1,200 copier devices residing in Department of State facilities across the United States. The continued support of copiers in the field is critical to the day-to-day operations and mission success of almost every Bureau and office in the DOS. The Limited Sources Justification will be published to the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (FedBizOpps) in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2) within 14 days after issuing the contact (modification) award.
