- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is HSHQEH-14-Q-00002_01 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-72. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236210 with a small business size standard of $33.50M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2014-02-03 16:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Statement of Work. When replacement parts are deemed necessary; such as units, assemblies and subassemblies, they shall be physically and functionally interchangeable as complete items, without modification., 12, MO; LI 002: Quarterly Target Range Preventative Maintenance (Base Period) Services for two (2) indoor ranges and replacement parts on - hand as part of the scheduled maintenance associated with these ranges. When replacement parts are deemed necessary; such as units, assemblies and subassemblies, they shall be physically and functionally interchangeable as complete items, without modification., 8, EA; LI 003: Other Direct Costs (ODC) - Not to Exceed Amount (Base Period): Corrective maintenance (as necessary) and material costs associated with maintenance in accordance with Statement of Work, Section 2.3. The amount currently assigned to this CLIN is estimated at not-to-exceed $4,160.00. No indirect costs will be allowed for materials purchased for corrective maintenance. These charges must be identified in an itemized purchase list for reimbursement., 1, NTE; LI 004: Bullet Trap Preventative Maintenance (Semi- Annual) -(Base Period) Services for two (2) indoor ranges to be performed every 6-months (semi-annually) and replacement parts on-hand as part of the scheduled maintenance associated with these ranges. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, DHS Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
