Sources Sought: This is a Sources Sought announcement FOR INFORMATION ONLY seeking only qualified Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business and/or other socioeconomic set aside vendors capable and interested in providing the below item. The Army Contracting Command Center Fort Dix, NJ intends to procure machinery for a Portable Vibratory Topsoil Screener for the U.S. Army Garrison located in Devens Massachusetts. The Screener will be used to separate a variety of materials such as topsoil, compost, street sweepings and sand & gravel. Must be made in the U.S.A. and include the attached features. See attached Specs for detail. This is for BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. EZ-SCREEN 1200XLS PORTABLE SCREENER - ARGUS INDUSTRIAL CO. The designated NAICS code is 333120, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please include the following information with your response: socioeconomic status of company (i.e. small business, veteran owned small business, small disadvantaged business, service disabled veteran owned, etc), company CAGE code, and if you provide an 'or equal' product, the manufacturer and manufacturer part number. Please send responses to Colleen Moore, colleen.m.moore18.civ@mail.mil no later than (NLT) Thursday, 1/30/2014, 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE IN A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Announcement.
