Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 and the Eastern Colorado Health Care System Denver VA Facility (ECHCS-Denver VA), located in Denver, Colorado are performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small Business Contractors to set aside a Fixed Price contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The proposed solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The selected contractor shall provide qualified Clinical Perfusion and/ or Auto-transfusion Services in support of the ECHCS-Denver VA medical support mission, in which, they shall perform all aspects of perfusion as well as auto-transfusion in the intraoperative and perioperative settings; and also provide protocols and guidelines for transfusions to the VA operating room staff that may be assisting in surgical procedures. The total contract period shall be for one base year with four (4) one year option periods not to exceed five (5) years. The total contract amount, including all options years, shall not exceed $995,000.00. The Selection Criteria include in descending order of importance: Contract Implementation / Qualifications; Past Performance; Quality Assurance; Regulatory Practices including Compliance with HIPAA/OSHA & Department of Veterans Affairs Policies & Procedures. All interested businesses stated above should respond by email, with information describing their interest, capabilities, and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contracting Officer shown above no later than 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), Monday February 10, 2014. Solicitation VA259-14-R-0177 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The NAICS Code 622310 is applicable to this acquisition, with a Business Size Standard of $35.5 million. Interested contractors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
