Description
Professional Engineer Review Courses Spring 2013 The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with The American Society of Civil Engineers. The NAICS code for this procurement is 813910 with a size standard not to exceed $7.0M. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Professional Engineer Review Courses Spring 2013 Period of Performance: 4 February 2014 thru 30 April 2014 SCOPE OF WORK Provide P.E. Civil Exam 17-Part Review Course - Includes Preparation for Depth Sessions. USACE shall receive all the instruction and guidance that comes with the 17-part webinar course to include the five Depth Sessions designed to provide the student a deeper and more focused knowledge of the P.E. Exam. a)Online access for 60 USACE sites starting February 4, 2014 (Spring 2014) through April 30, 2014 (Spring 2014) P.E. Civil Exam for 60 USACE locations. Registration must be made no later than 31 January 2014. b)The number of participants at each location shall be unlimited. c)Furnish support staff for technical issues pertaining to webinars. d)Supply survey and assessment tools to ensure customer satisfaction. e)Provide access to archived or recorded sessions to all USACE assigned participants for a period within no more than 48 hours of the live training session webinars. f)The online webinars will contain, but not limited to the following topics.
