Description

The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with Far Part 12 with AGFA Healthcare Corporation under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for the maintenance and repair of the Government owned Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS). PACS is proprietary equipment manufactured by AGFA Healthcare System and is the only company that can provide software upgrades, maintenance and repair of proprietary parts for VISN 22 (VA Long Beach, Loma Linda, San Diego, Greater Los Angeles, and Southern Nevada Healthcare System). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. The Government will consider all quotes received by 12:00 PM, February 3, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
