- Sole Source: The United States Army Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Precision Filters, Inc., 240 Cherry Street, Ithaca, New York 14850-5099. This contract will consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 10, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Quad Bridge Conditioner with 6-pole Bessel filter, Model Number: 28104-A-BE6-6 with the following accessories: Quantity 10 each, Bridge Completion Module, Model Number: BCI 1/124; and Quantity: 10 each Bridge Resistor Module, Model Number: BR1/124-350-10762. The items required are a part of the Integrated Ballistic Data System (IBDS) and must be compatible with existing software and hardware. They must be specific to the manufacturer to ensure they fit in the existing instrumented signal conditioner units. Market research has concluded that Precision Filters, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor for the items described above. This requirement is anticipated to be awarded to Precision Filters, Inc. Award for this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13.The North American Classification Systems code 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees will be utilized for this requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, business size and shall be clearly marked with Request for Quote (RFQ) W9124R-14-T-0109.
