Description
Introduction: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to search for qualified vendors capable of meeting the requirements to provide One (1) annual inspection and three (3) quarterly inspections of the medical air, oxygen and vacuum systems of the medical air systems, oxygen systems, and vacuum systems at the Lebanon Veterans Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Ave, Lebanon PA, 17042. Please respond with your company's size standard and DUNS number along with a statement of capabilities. Responses must be by e-mail to Michael.Shull@va.gov. This sources sought is for market research purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Do not submit a proposal or quote. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this sources sought. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a competitive process. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The intent of this action to obtain market research information on the ability for contractors to provide inspection services on medical gas and vacuum systems within the Lebanon VA Medical System. (1)Performance of one annual inspection of the medical air systems, oxygen systems, and vacuum systems located on the ground floor of Building 17, which includes approximately 25 outlets; Bldg 17, Rm 456 Chemo Ward, which includes 9 beds with AOV 27 outlets, 17-5 Dental and on the first floor, second floor, third floor fourth floor, fifth floor of Building 1, which includes approximately 645 new wards opened outlets, and the new Building 101 ICU/Urgent Care, and the new MRI Building, in accordance with all applicable requirements of NFPA 99, CGA, OSHA, and USP. (2.) Performance of three quarterly inspections of the medical air, oxygen and vacuum systems for the Chemo Lab floor of Building 17, Building 101, ED/ICU Building, MRI Building, which includes approximately 4 patient panels; and on the first floor, second floor, third floor, fourth floor, fifth floor, and sixth floor of Building 1, which includes approximately 645 outlets; in accordance with all applicable requirements of NFPA 99, CGA, OSHA, AND USP.
