- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to the Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA) for one membership. ASBA consists of bank supervisors and regulatory institutions from 34 countries throughout the Americas (North, South, Central America, the Caribbean, and Spain, including the U.S. - FRB, FDIC and OCC). ASBA's objectives are to develop, disseminate, and promote banking supervisory practices throughout the Americas in line with international standards, and to support the development of banking supervision expertise and resources in the Americas, through the effective provision of training and technical cooperation services. The ASBA is the only banking association with international standing representing banking supervisors and regulators from the Americas. This requirement will have a period of performance as follows: Base period: 02/01/2014 - 01/31/2015 And Up to 4 Option Years as follows: Option Period 1: 02/01/2015 - 01/31/2016 Option Period 2: 02/01/2016 - 01/31/2017 Option Period 3: 02/01/2017 - 01/31/2018 Option Period 4: 02/01/2018 - 01/31/2019 ASBA is the sole source for the needed requirement. There are no other vendors in the marketplace that can satisfy this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide a service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact witihin (7) days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
