Description

Replacement of Building 5 Entrance Doors (GI). Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to replace two entrance doors and frames to building 5, the front double and the back single door, at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 2201 N Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68803. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-1416 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on January 22, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Vendors will meet at Building 6, Grand Island VA Medical Center, 1601 N Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68803 Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 30 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is under $25,000.00.
