- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFQ) for a Commercial Spare Buy to include the Basic Year, plus Two Option Years. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Purchase of "Test Set, Subassembly", which will be Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Spares. The Quantities are as follows: The Basic Year Quantity is: 2 Each, Option Year I Quantity is: 2 Each, and Option Year II Quantity is: 1 Each. The National Stock Number (NSN) is: 6635-01-559-2663RN and the Part Number (P/N) is: GT50. The Generic Master NSN is: 6635-01-595-4985RN, which will include Commercial Item Description Number: A-A-59882. This acquisition is Competitive. Projected Delivery will be 180 Days After Receipt Order. The Response Date for issuing the Solicitation will be approximately 14 February 2014 with a Quote Due Date of 28 February 2014. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offerors may contact Ombudsman Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
