- 14RGP77_syn This synopsis is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Navy has a procurement requirement for the procurement of a minimum of 0 Hydrophone/ Thermistor Connectors and a maximum of 300; a minimum of 115 Hydrophone/Transducer Connectors and a maximum of 520; a minimum of 0 Thermistor Connectors and a maximum of 60; and a minimum of 24 Transducer Connectors and a maximum of 140 in accordance with the Statement of Work and applicable drawings. A Solicitation will be issued in pursuant to the procedures in FAR Part 15 for an anticipated FFP contract. The anticipated contract value is estimated to be $726,773. Delivery Terms are F.O.B. Destination, Final Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to enter in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with Teledyne, One Chase Way, PO Box 159, Seabrook, NH 03874, CAGE Code: 17476, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors interested in responding with a valid quote may obtain information on registration in the SAM via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. The documents are limited distribution (Distribution C) and will not be made available unless approval is granted. Interested contractors must be registered in the JCP in order to receive access. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The solicitation will not be available for download but may be made available upon request. Offers must be submitted in the format specified within the solicitation to be considered. It is the responsibility of the offerors to request a copy of the solicitation and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered. Closing date will be on or about 1 April 2014.
