Description
This is not a request for quote or proposal. This is a Sources Sought Announcement requesting a response from interested parties. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum intends to procure airfield concrete repair and replacement at Fort Drum, NY under a single award Fixed Price Requirements Contract. Some of the duties include: furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and perform all operations in connection with the repair and replacement of concrete located on Wheeler Sack Army Airfield, Fort Drum. The work will possibly entail all aspects of concrete replacement and repair to include: complete concrete mix design as required to complete repair and replacement of airfield concrete; remove and replace urgent and non-urgent damaged concrete pavement, full depth, slabs; excavate, remove, and dispose of existing concrete slabs down to the base course/sub-grade material; saw cut additional thickness of existing concrete during the demolition process; repair small cracks less than two inches, and large cracks more than two inches but less than four inches; remove and replace joints in existing concrete pavement slabs. Responses are limited to 20 pages and should include the following: -Small Business status under NAICS Code 237310, for example: 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned. -Bonding Limits -DUNS Number -CAGE Code -Registered in System for Award Management (SAM) The information should be submitted no later than 4PM Eastern Standard Time, on 24 January 2014 via email to CPT A. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date.
