Description: SECTION A A.1 SF 1449 SOLICITATION/CONTRACT/ORDER FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items Access Security Equipment Maintenance (i) This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation VA251-14-Q-0136 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular through 2005-69. (iv) This is solicitation is unrestricted under NAICS code 561621. The small business size standard for NAICS 561621 is $19 million. (v) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW): The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on Government owned Hirsch Security Access Equipment located at the VA Medical Center located in 2215 Full Road in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the Pharmacy located at 3333 Glendale Road in Toledo, Ohio. The period of performance will be for a base period and three one-year optional renewal years. The base period will be for the date of award through September 30, 2014. The optional renewal years will be for the period of October 1, 2014, through September 30, 2017.
