- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract over a 5-year ordering period to Thermo Fisher Scientific. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the following listed Thermo Fischer commercial supplies: •· 8800 PLUS TLD READER •· 8800 PLUS XT READER •· 8800 CARD ID PROCESSOR •· COMA 001245-4 (Model 8800 Electrical Safety Kit for Reader) •· COMA 001471 (Model 8800 electrical safety kit for Card ID) •· TSVF S4 (Field service commissioning TLD reader) •· 21989 (Built-in Internal 90Sr/Y Irradiator) •· 28881 (8800 PLUS ENHANCED SPARE PARTS KIT) •· 24110 (Card Cartridge for Model 8800 PC or Plus, Load (blue color)) •· 22051-1 (Card Cartridge for Model 8800 PC or Plus, Load (gold color)) •· 22164 (Card cartridge block (for cartridge above)) •· TLD 7H7H7H6H Card Dosimeter (DT-702 TLD Card) with unique, printed alphanumeric barcode labels •· 8840 Holder (DT-702 Holder) Part Number TYPE 8840 •· Manual Holder Opener for DT-702/8840 Holder Part number 27553 •· DXT-707H DXTRAD Extremity Dosimeter - Part number 26998 •· DXTRAD Carrier card - Part number 500598 •· 3.3 mg/cm2 DXTRAD Cap - Part number 28573 •· 5 mg/cm2 DXTRAD Cap - Part number 27176 •· DXTRAD Ring (color TBD) The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any and all proposals received must indicate their ability to meet National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) standards. NVLAP accreditation is required of all dosimetry processors under the regulatory authority of the Code of Federal Regulations - Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
