- Description
- Amendment 003 The purposes of this contract are to acquire secure document and materials destruction and recycling services and silver extraction for records, materials, and x-ray films that are ready for destruction. NARA expects to pay for destruction of all materials and generate revenue from the sale of paper or silver extraction. All work must be performed under the terms and conditions of this contract and in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Quality Assurance by the Government will include review of the items in Attachment 4, Performance Requirements Summary (PRS). This contract is designed to destroy Federal records and materials according to the prescribed secure destruction standards outlined in the PWS. The Government will retain title to the materials until they are completely destroyed, recycled, or transferred to a buyer. The contractor will retain risk of loss from the time it picks materials up from the Federal Records Centers until the time the materials are completely destroyed, recycled, or transferred to a buyer. No minimum number of trailers per week is guaranteed. NARA will receive revenue from the sale of extracted silver. The sale of extracted silver for NARA by the Contractor shall be performed at no cost. NARA anticipates paying for the destruction of all other materials. See Attached RFQ.
