- POTENTIAL QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS THIS IS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Building Services (PBS) Region 4 hereby announces its intent to issue a Request for Information (RFI). This Sources Sought is not Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This Sources Sought is a market research tool to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources/data which will be used for planning purposes and to determine if potential sources exist to support Small Business set-aside under on the following socio-economic program, 8(a) - Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This information is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals and no award will be made as result of this notice. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The information obtained from submitted responses may be used in development of an acquisition strategy and future solicitation (s). Respondents will not be notified of the results of this source sought notice. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this Synopsis. Locations of performance as follows: Peachtree Summit Federal Building, 401 West Peachtree Street, NW Atlanta Georgia 30308. Work to performed: Construction Manager as Agent Services SUBMISSION SHALL BE LIMITED TO TWO (2) SINGLE SIDED PAGES AND SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: CONTACT INFORMATION - Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address. BUSINESS TYPE - Indicate Business Type. CAPABILITY/QUALIFICATIONS - Include capability to execute "similar". Provide a brief description of the project, customer name (include point of contact), project duration, and dollar value of the project. Provide at least three (3) projects performed within the past (5) years. BONDING CAPACITY - Construction bonding level per contract and aggregate bonding level, both expressed in dollars. EXPERIENCE - Similar is defined as new construction, repair and alteration, or modernization of federally owned or federally leased government buildings and/or courthouses. PERFORMED WORK UNDER THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY SYSTEM NAICS CODE LISTED BELOW - indicate (Yes or No) 236220 SECURITY CLEARANCE- active security clearance for all employees on site. Interested contractors shall respond to the Sources Sought Synopsis no later than Tuesday, January 28, 2014@ 2:00 PM EST via email Dequilla Burnett.gsa.gov. ALL RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Note: All interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
