A: Malcom Randall VA Medical Center 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 Q: Do you need the quote FOB destination? A: FOB Destination. Q: DO you have a model number for this motor? A: The SPEC# of the current motors is SPEC #: BAL18E577X765. There is no catalogue number. Q: Is the customer going to use 230 or 460 volts? A: 460 Volts. Q: What is the turn-down ratio of the motor? A: Per the response from the customer, "These motors are currently on VFD's. They have to be inverter duty motors. The original problem is that when they installed the plant, the Chilled Water Pumps were put on VFD's (Variable Frequency Drive) without being rated as inverter duty motors. We are working to correct this. The impellers were not shaved down as far as I know, because the pumps were going to be run with VFD's. We need premium efficiency inverter duty motors to replace the old motors." The customer is under the impression that what they need does not have a turn-down ratio. If there is one associated with an inverter duty rated motor, he does not know what it would be.
