- Request for Informaton Document SOW Attachment Statement of Work REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate vendors capable of providing information technology services, as described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in obtaining the required services. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within FSA to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note USDA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This is not a Solicitation and a Contract Award will NOT result from responses to this RFI. A solicitation requesting bids may be requested in the future as a result of the market research gathered for this synopsis. 1. The resultant effort is likely to be issued as an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract. The period of performance of the IDIQ contract will be a one year base period with four, one year options. Individual Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders will be issued from the IDIQ contract. It is estimated that at least one task order will be issued per year. 2. The primary place of performance is USDA/Kansas City Mo. 3. The Government requests the following information to aide in its analysis of the industry. The information requested below is limited to a maximum of 5 pages. a. Company Information: Company Name Address Point of Contact(s) POC telephone numbers POC email address Identification of business size (Small, Large, etc) DUNS Number GSA Schedule # (if applicable) b. Capability Information. This section should include a brief detailed description of experience in providing support for requirements similar to the attached PWS in both size and magnitude. The capability package must be clear, concise and complete. USDA/FSA is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. c. Please feel free to review, and redline the PWS and issue comments on the content, structure, and feasibility of obtaining the requirements stated. 4. Submission Information. Response by email is required and should be forwarded to N. Denise Henderson, Senior Contract Specialist, and Shawn Hedgspeth, Contracting Officer, at Nannette.henderson@wdc.usda.gov and shawn.hedgspeth@wdc.usda.gov. Response is requested on or before 21 January 2014. This is a Request for Information and will be used as Market Research. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government is not requesting bids or proposals at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted or for any costs associated with providing the information.
