Description

VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, CA intends to enter into a sole source award with Harvard University for Geriatric Research Program Training. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, and FAR 6.302-4 Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38. NAICS Code is 611310 The Request for Quotation is VA-262-14-Q-0242. The solicitation shall be available on or about 1/13/ 2014 through 1/15/2014. This procurement is to provide Greater Los Angeles VAHCS Geriatric Research Training. Programs operate as a collaborative effort of the VA Office of Geriatrics and Extended Care and nine VA Geriatric Research Education Clinical Centers (GRECCs) a mandatory component for intense course in Geriatrics. Period of performance shall be from 2/28/2014 3/2 2014. The Contractor shall provide group coaching and instruction to Geriatric Scholars.
