Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to perform individual Task Orders. Task Orders may include, but are not limited to, asbestos abatement, demolition, carpentry, painting, wall covering installation, flooring installation, concrete, roofing, exterior siding or masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, window replacement, and any other work normally included within NAICS code series 236, 237, and 238. Work may include any of the various locations within VISN 2 (Buffalo/Batavia, Bath, Canandaigua, Syracuse, and/or Albany) and all VA owned satellite locations associated with these facilities. This procurement has been set aside 100% to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns will NOT be considered and shall be rejected. Solicitation packages will be available via FedBizOpps.gov on or after January 27, 2013. All questions concerning this project MUST be submitted electronically to the POC listed below. NO phone calls will be accepted. NAICS code will be determined for each individual task order. The estimated magnitude of this project is more than $10,000.000.00. The Davis-Bacon Act applies to this requirement. Offerors should re-visit the website located at www.fedbizopps.gov periodically to look for updates. All requests for information are required to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and shall be received prior to the proposal due date specified in the solicitation. NO hardcopies, NO telephone inquiries or questions, and ONLY in writing. Award will be subject to availability of funds.
