- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of a Life Connections Program Facilitator for the inmate population at the United Stated Penitentiary located in Leavenworth, Kansas. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in the award of a single contract. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. The contractor will provide one Program Facilitator and two - four Assistant Program Facilitators. The estimated number of sessions is One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) sessions for the Program Facilitator and Three Thousand (3,000) sessions for the Assistant Program Facilitators (3,000 TOTAL) for the base year and each of the option years. A session is defined as one (1) hour in duration. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12 month option periods for renewal. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about February 3, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 28, 2014. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110 with a size standard of $7.0 million, and 611710 with a size standard of 14.0 million. The solicitation will be unrestricted. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the SAM database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
